Booth Information
● Due to limited booth space availability, remit an application and payment as soon as possible. Questions may be directed to Anne Jones at 337-826-3626 or email to steamboatcityassociation@gmail.com. Deadline for application submission is March 14, 2025.
● Booth fees are $50 for a 10x10 “Arts & Crafts only” space. Arts & Crafts may include pre-packaged jellies, jams, pies, cookies, & miscellaneous food items. All booth spaces rental fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and must be prepaid to secure a space. PAYMENT MUST BE IN THE FORM OF CHECK OR MONEY ORDER, PAYABLE TO Steamboat City Association, Inc. NO cash please. Application and payment may be mailed to P O Box 218, Washington, LA 70589 or delivered to Washington Town Hall during regular business hours. Only one vendor allowed per booth.
● On festival day, vendors will be directed by a Steamboat City Association, Inc team member to the assigned booth space. Booth space numbers will not be available prior to the event.
● Vendors will be assigned a 10X10 booth space. Completely secure the tent with weights as soon as it is set up. Each tent leg must be weighted with no less than a 25-pound weight. To avoid a tripping hazard, no guy lines are allowed outside the 10X10 space (cord or string used to secure a tent). Vendor without required weights will be prohibited from setting up a tent. Rental fee will not be refunded.
● All items and equipment must fit within this designated area (no exceptions). Vendors may purchase more than one booth space depending on availability. Only one vendor allowed per booth space.
● Electricity and water are not provided. Vendors may wish to have battery operated lights available for early evening. Gas powered generators are not allowed.
● Vendors must provide their own equipment for display of merchandise. Steamboat City Association, Inc does not rent or provide any equipment (tables, chairs, tents, etc.).
● All vendors are responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of their booth before, during, and after the event.
Set Up and Break Down
● All booths must be set up by 9:30 AM.
● Vehicles access to the pavilion area will cease at 8:00 AM. Vehicle traffic will be allowed in the pavilion lot (pending traffic) for unloading only. After unloading, vehicle must be moved, and the vendor may return to set up. TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF FESTIVAL VISITORS, VEHICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN FESTIVAL AREA FROM 8:00 AM TO 7:00 PM (festival closing time). DO NOT MOVE BARRICADES.
● Vendor booths are NOT to be broken down until the event ends at 7:00 PM.
When one vendor starts breaking down it sends a message to customers and other vendors that the event is ending. The event is from 10 AM to 7 PM. Exceptions may only be made if previously discussed with the organizer. Anyone who breaks down early without receiving pre-approval from the organizer will not be invited back.
